MiLS meeting on Inverse problems in biology and neuroscience
The 11th Mathematics in Life Sciences (MiLS) meeting will focus on "Inverse problems in biology and neuroscience". It will take place on 5th December 2019 at the University of Nottingham.
The meeting will consist of three keynote talks, given by Prof. Catherine Powell (University of Manchester), Dr. Tony Shardlow (University of Bath) and Dr. Deirdre McGrath (University of Nottingham), combined with several contributed research talks.
Topics will include inverse problems, uncertainty quantification and applications to imaging, biology and neuroscience. The aim of the workshop is to promote the exchange of new experimental and theoretical results, create a roadmap for future developments and encourage new collaborations.
We solicit contributed talks and posters, especially from early career researchers and postgraduate students. If you are interested in giving a talk, please send a title and abstract to Rachel Nicks and Daniele Avitabile.
Attendance to the meeting is free of charge, but we kindly ask you to register your intention to attend by sending an email to Rachel Nicks.
