We are pleased to announce the 17th Mathematics in Life Sciences (MiLS) meeting which will focus on "Information Theory in Life Sciences". It will take place on 13-14th September 2023 at the University of Nottingham, and will be co-organised by Prof. Jonathan Wattis.
The meeting aims to bring together mathematicians and experimentalists to discuss the use of information theory techniques in life sciences, including Shannon information, entropy and ideas from statistical physics, and is expected to encompass a wide range of applications.

We solicit contributed talks and posters related to the theme, especially from early career researchers and postgraduate students. If you are interested in giving a talk or poster, please send a title and abstract to Rachel Nicks by email or through the registration form by 30th July 2023.
